Brad Pitt declares he will not abandon his children

Hanoi [Vietnam], August 15:Despite his two children continuing legal action to remove the 'Pitt' surname, Brad Pitt is reportedly still hoping to mend his relationship with all six of his children.
According to sources cited by Radar Online on August 14, the 62-year-old actor has always hoped to reconcile with his children, while choosing a patient approach in his relationship, which has been strained for years, as well as in his legal dispute with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
Brad Pitt still harbors hope of reuniting with his children.
A source said Brad Pitt is always aware of the blessings he has in life. The source said the actor has patience, resilience, and perseverance, and is not despairing about his current situation with his children.
"Brad knows that there will come a time when he will have a place back in all of his children's lives. He has contributed to raising them and helping them become the people they are today. No one can take that away from Brad, no matter how the legal battle between him and Angelina unfolds," the source shared.
The children's repeated rejections are believed to have been a major shock to Brad Pitt. Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox have filed for or voluntarily dropped the surname "Pitt," using only "Jolie" or their mother's middle name in official documents, events, and artistic works. Despite this, the Oscar-winning actor is reportedly choosing a more mature approach to the future of his relationship with his children.
According to another source, Brad Pitt's journey to overcome alcoholism and maintain sobriety over the years has significantly changed his perspective on his family. "Brad has really changed a lot during his time away from alcohol. He will always answer the phone if the kids need anything and that won't change anytime soon," the source said.
Notably, among the couple's six children, Pax Thien is said to maintain a close relationship with his paternal family. According to Page Six , Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's Vietnamese-born adopted son still spends time with relatives on the 60s actor's side and recently attended a family gathering to celebrate his cousin Sydney's engagement. However, another source revealed that the direct relationship between Pax Thien and Brad Pitt is not currently as close.
Despite the ups and downs in the relationship between Brad Pitt and his six children, a source says the actor still considers them family and hasn't given up hope of improving the relationship: "Even though all six children and Brad have been through difficult times together, he will always be their father. After all, what Brad wants is for his children to be proud of him, just as they are proud of Angelina."
