Phan Phuong Oanh crowned Miss World Vietnam 2025

Hanoi [Vietnam], March 30: The Miss World Vietnam 2025 final was held on March 29th at the Military Zone 7 Gymnasium (Ho Chi Minh City), featuring 47 contestants. The event also included special appearances by the President of the Miss World Organization, Ms. Julia Morley, and Miss World Opal Suchata.
In the final night, contestants will participate in various competitions including group performances, traditional Vietnamese dress (ao dai) presentations, bikini and evening gown presentations, and Q&A sessions. to determine the winner and two runners-up. According to the organizers, the girl who wins this beauty pageant will be given the opportunity to compete at the 74th Miss World pageant.
Opening the final night, the 47 contestants appeared in dynamic outfits, participating in a group performance with Miss Ý Nhi, First Runner-up Minh Kien, and singer Ngọc Hằng. Afterwards, the girls returned to the stage for the traditional Vietnamese dress (ao dai) competition. Wearing designs inspired by Vietnamese culture, the candidates scored points with their graceful and radiant appearance.
The Top 20 of Miss World Vietnam 2025 has officially been revealed, including: Le Phuong Khanh Nhu (winner of the Most Confident Beauty award), Le Thi Trang (Most Talented Beauty), Bui Thu Thuy (Miss Media), Trinh Yen Nhi (Miss Beach), Trinh Vu Hong Duyen (Miss Beach as voted by the audience), Tran Thi Kieu Anh (Miss Sport), Nguyen Dao Tuyen Duong (Miss Fashion), Phan Hai Nhu (Miss Tourism), Le Ngoc Nhu Quynh, Tran Thi Phuong Linh, Phung Thi Dieu Linh, Vo Doan Bao Ha, Nguyen Lan Nhi, Ngo Thi Kieu Anh, Le Phuong Quyen, Pham Thuy Dung, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Le Thao Linh, Truong Tam Nhu, and Phan Phuong Oanh.

The Top 10 then returned for the evening gown competition. They opted for figure-hugging designs with eye-catching embellishments for the final night. After that, the Top 6 were officially revealed: Le Ngọc Như Quỳnh (winner of the Beauty with a Purpose award), Phan Phương Oanh, Le Phương Khanh Như, Trần Thị Phương Linh, Trương Tâm Như, and Đỗ Thùy Linh.
Le Ngoc Nhu Quynh received a question from Miss Bao Ngoc regarding the responsibility of young people towards environmental protection and climate change response. The contestant stated that every action to protect the environment is a way to protect our common home. "Young people today shouldn't just follow trends but need to take concrete action," she shared.
Contestant Phan Phuong Oanh received a question from Miss Vietnam Tieu Vy: "What do you want the world to remember about Vietnam?" The beauty queen hoped that international friends would remember the country's glorious past, its thriving present, and its aspirational future. Phan Phuong Oanh believes that with the resources of a young generation that is courageous and knowledgeable, Vietnam can bring glory to itself.
Le Phuong Khanh Nhu received a question from Luong Thuy Linh about food security. The contestant answered bilingually, raising the issue of food shortages and the crisis of awareness worldwide. According to her, change can come from small things like choosing to be smart consumers, valuing food, and minimizing waste. She hopes to contribute her voice to "transform awareness into action" to overcome this problem with a courageous heart.
Tran Thi Phuong Linh received a question from actor Quoc Truong: "What is the most important asset for Vietnamese women to confidently step out into the world?" According to the beauty queen, it is inner strength - self-confidence and a compassionate heart. She believes that these qualities will help young women integrate while still preserving their cultural identity and spreading love to others.
Zhang Xinru received a question from actress Nhat Kim Anh: "Where can young Vietnamese people begin to contribute to the goal of world peace?" The beauty queen shared, "Listen instead of criticizing, love instead of judging, appreciate instead of feeling negative."
Do Thuy Linh received a question from Ha Kieu Anh: What is the biggest challenge facing children around the world? According to her, every country and region faces challenges for children, such as the impact of technology and the pressure of studying. In particular, Thuy Linh raised the issue of children lacking food, clothing, and educational opportunities. "We must all work together, not just through propaganda and appeals, but by helping those in these circumstances to have the opportunity to study, live, and develop themselves," she expressed.
Following the Q&A round, the Top 3 were officially revealed: Truong Tam Nhu, Le Phuong Khanh Nhu, and Phan Phuong Oanh. According to the previously announced format, these three candidates will then answer the same question from Opal Suchata - Miss World 2025 to determine the winner.
Before announcing the final results, the organizers presented the special awards including Miss Dedication (Phung Thi Dieu Linh), Miss Diplomacy (Nguyen Do Vu Yen), Miss Inspiration (Nguyen Dang Kha Tram), Miss Creativity (Nguyen Ha Ngoc Minh), and Miss Ao Dai (Vo Doan Bao Ha).
After several rounds of competition, the MC announced that Truong Tam Nhu was the second runner-up. Le Phuong Khanh Nhu was named the first runner-up. Phan Phuong Oanh was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2025.
Phan Phuong Oanh, born in 2003 in Hanoi, stands at 1.73 meters tall. From the beginning of the competition, she was considered a strong contender thanks to her beautiful appearance and solid educational background. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from the National Economics University. Before the final night, Phan Phuong Oanh had already made it to the Top 5 in the Fashion Beauty category and Top 4 in the Confident Beauty category. Prior to that, she was in the Top 10 of Miss Vietnam 2022 and won the title of Miss Beach.
