Sesko credits defensive improvement as Man United continue winning run

London [UK], February 3: Benjamin Sesko says things are coming together for spirited Manchester United after his stoppage-time strike extended Michael Carrick's winning start.
Carrick recently returned to the club as head coach until the end of the season and has already matched predecessor Ruben Amorim's best Premier League run of three straight victories.
United followed up the mightily impressive 2-0 derby win against Manchester City with last weekend's 3-2 triumph at leaders Arsenal, before digging deep to secure another 3-2 win against Fulham at a rocking Old Trafford on Sunday.
Match-winning substitute Sesko told MUTV: "We work as one. I mean, we always have done, but you know it's bits by bits.
"And yeah, it just came together, especially off the ball. You can see the work-rate from everyone.
"It's benefitting us with the ball and off the ball, and, in the end, also with the results." United took the lead through Casemiro's header from a contentious first-half free-kick, before the veteran midfielder's exquisite no-look pass was followed by a similarly impressive finish from compatriot Matheus Cunha.
Fulham looked to have snatched a late point as Raul Jimenez's penalty was quickly followed by a beautiful Kevin finish, only for Sesko's control and lasered strike deeper in stoppage time to win it.
"It feels emotional, it feels amazing," the substitute said of his sixth goal for United. "It was a pleasure helping the team, helping the fans and the club to secure a win.
"It's always nice to help the team and score goals, obviously.
"That (noise) was unbelievable. When I scored, I just didn't know what was going on. I was shocked. But, yeah, what a moment. An amazing time to score it." Asked where this goal ranks in his career, the 22-year-old summer signing from RB Leipzig said: "It's quite high, especially in the Premier League when everything is way faster than in Germany.
"Obviously it's really important the just touch, the moment to set it right, to have a good position for scoring.
"Yeah, it's up there for me definitely, but even because it's a moment like this."
United return to action at home to Tottenham on Saturday.
