Teenager charged over stabbing in Australia's Victoria

Sydney [Australia], March 2: Australian police reported on Saturday that a teenager has been charged in Victoria after a stabbing incident injured two people in a town situated in the state's southeast.
At about 7:00 p.m. local time on Friday, the incident took place on Church Street in Morwell, approximately 150 km southeast of the state capital Melbourne.
According to Victoria Police, two men, both from Morwell, got out of their car and were involved in a physical altercation with a group of people.
The 25-year-old and 18-year-old were stabbed before being transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the incident, the group fled the scene on foot but was soon located near a railway station.
"A 15-year-old Traralgon boy was arrested and has been charged with intentionally cause injury, affray, assault with a weapon, and unlawful assault. He will appear at a children's court at a later date," the state police confirmed.
