What is Maduro's situation like while being detained by the US?

Washington [US], January 11: Nicolas Maduro's son provided updates on his father's detention in the US, while the US advised its citizens to leave Venezuela and considered lifting sanctions to facilitate oil sales.
AFP reported on January 11th that Venezuelan lawmaker Nicolas Maduro Guerra, son of President Nicolas Maduro , said his father "is fine" while he and his wife Cilia Flores are detained in the United States awaiting trial.
"We are fine. We are fighters," Maduro Guerra said in a video released by the ruling PSUV party.
A week after U.S. special forces arrested Maduro in a raid in Caracas on January 3, the U.S. State Department on January 10 urged Americans in Venezuela to leave the country "immediately," citing the risk from armed militia groups searching vehicles for U.S. citizens at checkpoints.
"The security situation in Venezuela remains volatile," the ministry said in a security alert.
Regarding the plan to control Venezuelan oil, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that additional US sanctions against Venezuela could be lifted as early as next week to facilitate oil sales.
"We are lifting the embargo on the oil that will be sold," Bessent said.
In addition, he said he would meet with leaders of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank next week to discuss the Venezuela issue, according to Reuters.
The official said that nearly $5 billion worth of monetary assets under Venezuela 's Special Drawing Rights, currently frozen by the IMF , could be used to help rebuild the country's economy.
