VP Jagdeep Dhankar’s emotional interview on former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh conferred Bharat Ratna

New Delhi, February 10 (ANI): In an exclusive interview with ANI on Bharat Ratna being conferred to eminent leaders, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on February 10 said it is a matter of great joy and happiness. VP Dhankar further said the weight and prestige of India's highest civilian honour have grown manifold after it was conferred to five stalwarts and national icons. Late former Prime Ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh and Narasimha Rao, BJP stalwart and former deputy PM LK Advani, the harbinger of India's Green Revolution, MS Swaminathan, and late two-time Bihar Chief Minister and a champion of social justice, Dr Karpoori Thakur, will be conferred with the country's highest prize later this year.
